Class 2 Driving Licence
The medium rigid vehicle licence.

Entry Criteria
A current medical certificate, which is a legal requirement
Must have Class 1 licence for a minimum period of 6 months
Qualifications
HT Class 2 Licence and units are recognised as qualifications by the industry.
If a trainee is unable to complete the assessment activity within the guidelines then further training will be required.
Course Detail and Resources
Length of course:- 3 days including "Theory and Practical"
Resourses:- each client will receive two study Workbook
Outcomes:- the course is based on unit Standard 24089 (covering fatigue managment, worktime and driver logbooks) and also includes Unit Standard 17576 (operate a Heavy Rigid Vehicle)
After completing the course they will receive a NZTA certificate showing they have demonstrated competency in units 24089 and 17574
